I have been on Weight Watchers (WW) for less than a week & I am down 3.5 lbs!!! I am just over the moon about this. I am able to eat things that I love, but in smaller portions & I don’t feel deprived at all. Now, I will say that my body is trying to get used to not eating as much food, so my stomach does growl at night. I’m sure that it will adjust to less food/less calories as time goes by. I refuse to give up! I know I must press on & I will do this!
Today’s Food Journal:
10 glasses of spring water (some with lemon slices)
Breakfast: 1 Thomas Bagel Thin + 2 Tbsp. WW Whipped Reduced Fat Cream Cheese + 5 slices Land ‘O Frost Canadian Bacon = 6 Points+ (I had this at 7:30 a.m.–it was quick, easy & kept me full until my 11:30 a.m. snack!) I also added 1 cup of grapes on the side (0 points)
Snack: 7 Reduced-Fat Triscuits + 1 wedge of Laughing cow cheese + 1 banana
Lunch: Morningstar Farms Buffalo Chik patty (no bread) + 1 slice Sargento ultra-thin cheese + a bit of mustard & pickles + 1 portioned bag of baked Cheetos
Snack: 1 cup Campbells Home Style Chicken & Rice soup
Dinner: 1 bagel thin + 2 Tbsp WW cream cheese + 3 slices of lean turkey breast (I enjoyed breakfast so much that I decided to do it again for dinner, except swapped the Canadian bacon for turkey slices…YUM)
I used up all of my points and I do not allow myself to eat after 7 p.m. If I start to get hungry again, I distract myself. I get up and walk around, maybe do some housework, phone a friend, write in my journal, or go online & read success stories (which I love). Nothing like reading stories of people who have succeeded in their weight loss efforts to keep you on your path. 🙂
45 minutes of cardi0- power walking/jogging 2 miles
I am very proud of myself for sticking with this. My husband, who is a photographer, has promised to do my photo shoot once I hit my goal weight. I plan to buy the cutest sundress I can find!
I can’t wait to write my very own success story.
Hope you are all having a great week!!!
