Today I started the Take Shape For Life/Medifast program. My awesome TSFL health coach is Brianna Rangel. I received my food and so far I really like it. It’s an easy program to follow. Basically, you eat 5 Medifast/TSFL meals/snacks and have a “Lean & Green” meal that includes around 4-6 oz. of lean meat + a side of green (non-starchy) vegetables. That’s it!
I don’t have a lot of time to cook, so this plan works great for my lifestyle.
Today’s Food Journal:
Breakfast: Mixed Berry Cereal Crunch + 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Snack: Cookie Dough Chewy Bar
Lunch: MF turkey meatballs + mixed salad (1 cup) + 2 Tbsp. of Opa Greek Ranch dressing
Snack: Honey Mustard Pretzels
Dinner- Lean & Green: 4 oz lean round steak with diced tomatoes + 1 cup of green beans
Snack: MF Dutch Chocolate shake made with unsweetened almond milk
The only things I didn’t care for/won’t order again were the turkey meatballs and the honey mustard pretzels. The cereal, cookie dough bar and chocolate shake were all awesome though. I don’t have any tiredness so far and I don’t feel like I’m starving. I’ll keep recording my diet & exercise through here so that I can look back and see where I started. I am also going to take monthly photos to document my journey.
